An Evening With... 2011 - 2012 Series
Ted Conover - Thursday, February 9th at 7 p.m. Mr. Conover will talk about his travels and studies with reference to the impact of the development of roads in his book, The Routes of Man.
Karl Pillemer - Thursday, February 23rd at 7 p.m. Dr. Pillemer is a professor of Human Development at Cornell University and Professor of Gerontology at the Weill Cornell Medical College. He is an author of 5 books and 100 scientific publications. In a recent study Dr. Pillemer uncovered what older people know about life that the rest of us don't know. This project led to the book - 30 Lessons for Living: Tried and True Advice from the Wisest Americans. He will discuss the advice for living of people age 70 and beyond, and it's relevance for people of all ages.
Edie Lutnick - Thursday, March 1st at 7 p.m. (Date confirmed) Ms. Lutnick will discuss her recent book, An Unbroken Bond: the Untold Story of How the 658 Cantor Fitzgerald Families Faced the Tragedy of 9/11 and Beyond. This is a story of the victims, the families and how they came together bonded by a tragic fate. A very powerful, sometimes infuriating and ultimately heartrending story.

RSS, Inc.’s programs and services take place at a community facility and are designed to encourage and enable seniors to continue living independently, with dignity with their families and in their homes.

All of our meals are home cooked by our own chef, for over 10 years, Rebecca Cobbinah. Home made soups, ice cream sundaes and her famous salmon lunches are regular offerings. Special Birthday lunches offer the honorees a half price lunch with ice cream, birthday cake and music with one of our favorite performers.
